Volunteering with us is fun and flexible.

 

You can help in the following ways:

• Help beginners with sewing and other crafts (i.e. crochet, knitting).

• Assist Laura, our sewing facilitator, in preparing projects, writing simple instructions and sewing samples.

• Unpack and sort fabric and haberdashery donations. 

• Assist in selling fabric and sewing materials.

• Promote the MWSG by attending markets, where we sell products the group has made, fabric and connect with the community.

• Offer workshops on a specific skill or project that you are passionate about.

• Assist in organising workshops of the group.

• Spend time with children of the woman who are sewing.

• Assist in the organisation of fundraising activities.

• Help build a community in our local area by welcoming women of all cultural, economic backgrounds and faiths.
